"We abuse the land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see the land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect." Aldo Leopold

The Institute for Environmental Learning is dedicated to educating the public about the issues that threaten the welfare of our planet and its species.

Using injured and imprinted raptors that cannot be returned to the wild, we provide a close up look at how predators adapt and fit into the environment.

A variety of conservation topics are included in our programming, and we strive to provide examples of how every person can make a difference and contribute to the health of our planet.
